constlakshya:Ingredient[ ]=[Travel, Books, Movies, Sitcoms,Fitness, Open Source, Software, ...Curiosity] ;About Me!
I am Lakshya Singh, a human with a mix of just too many ingredients. I am a Software Engineer by job title and did bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. I keep myself engaged with travelling, reading, developing and learning by being curious about things but often would be found just meditating.
I was introduced to the world of programming and software development in my first year. Since then, I have been very enthusiastic about deep diving into various fields of Computer Science. The areas that capture my interests are Operating Systems, Compilers, Distributed Systems, Databases, Big Data, Bitcoin, Data Structures and Algorithms.
Open Source is . I am an avid open source contributor. I try to contribute to open source projects that I use and find interesting at times in any capacity possible. You can find my contributions on my Github/Gitlab Profile. I started my journey with good first's maybe you can too :)
Alongside this, I am very keen on travelling to new places and capturing them. Photography is an escape and sort of a time-travelling machine where I make others travel with me. While I am travelling you will mostly find me reading a book in the genre of fiction, rom-com, fantasy, history, self help or psychology. I am still trying to widen the horizons of genres.

My professional journey has been filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to innovative projects.
Open Source
One of the best things that I encountered in my whole journey is OSS and its community. I try to contribute in any capacity possible to Open Source.

My Journey
My journey has been a very educational one because I've chosen to make the best of every opportunity that I've had along the way, no matter what.
Schooling
Although my hometown is Alwar, a small peaceful town, I grew up in Jaipur for most of my life. Did my schooling at various schools and coaching for IIT-JEE from Jaipur. Till 10th standard, I focused both on my studies and co-curricular activities equally and excelled in both. My niche used to be and is oratory and quizzing competitions. During my preparation for JEE, I was totally soaked into securing a good rank and qualifying for competitive exams.
College
I joined Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi. IITs are considered the finest institutes in India, and studying in one of them was a dream come true. I started learning programming in the college itself with the help of awesome seniors and friends. It was a great learning experience in the college, and I hope that I will keep learning new things over the course and stay excited
Web Developer
I got aware of Web Development in the winter break of the first semester under COPS Winter of Code. I was selected into the Dev Group based on my quality of code best among Freshers. I continued learning more about Frontend Responsive Design and then deep-dived into Backend in Summer 2020. Since then, I have been exponentially increasing my knowledge about various frameworks and their usage alongside expanding the span of my tech stack.
Open Source
What's better than giving back to the community alongside learning from them? Open Source is so much fun. I started making open source contributions during HacktoberFest 2020 and contributed to many organizations. All my contributions can be found on my Github profile.
